Romi's 1st Birthday

Romi enjoyed the day at the park with her friends and family.

Bath Time Fun

Romi has discovered the use of her legs to really splash the water. Notice the churning waters in this shot.
Over the weekend, we went to the El Cerritto Pool with Eric, Andy, and Oscar. It was super fun, but we forgot the camera. Oscar and Romi played pretty well together, for one year olds. We also stumbled upon the Castro Valley Community Park which has a large water play area we'd love to visit again. By the time we got there it was a bit to cool to get wet.
On Friday night, we welcomed the new year and honored Romi's Hebrew calendar birthday with our friends Bob, Clare, and their son Sammy. He was doing his preschool homework and practiced sharing his toys with Romi. He drew the line at sharing his high chair. But, Romi was a super lap eater that night and enjoyed gnawing on whole green beans along with her challah, potatoes, and chicken puree.

We're looking forward to continuing the celebrations as Romi turns 1 year old.

Had a Blast with Aunt Danica

Romi had a fun Labor Day Weekend. My sister Danica same up for the day on Sunday and then on Monday we hung out with Romi's cousin Maya on Angel Island. Go CA state parks.
