Jaron's Hebrew Name...Yaron Navin Yitzhock

Jaron's Hebrew naming ceremony (called a bris) was on Sunday. It was a short ceremony held at the local synagogue. It is located so close to our home that Heather, Romi, Jaron, and I walked from our home to the synagogue.

Jaron's Hebrew name is Yaron Navin Yitzhock. Yaron (Yah-RONE) because his first name comes from this Hebrew name already. Navin (Nah-VEEN) is a Hebrew name made from the combination of two English names, Naomi and Victor, Heather's maternal grandparents. Yitzhock (YITZ-hock) was Matt's paternal grandfather's Hebrew name. (Tom's stepfather, Edward Smith).

Yaron means "he will sing, cry out", Navin means "understanding", and Yitzhock means "he will laugh."

We are all so grateful that Jaron has joined the family. He is a little guy who seems to be good at eating and sleeping and....pooping too.
Big love to the little guy,
