Ok. Our friend Jason, whose son came three weeks early, said, "You know all those things on your list to do before the baby comes? Yeah....do them today." I heard his declaration and was on it, like the good list maker and accomplisher I can be. As you can see, the bags are packed and ready to go. We have the crib and all of the furniture and clothes ready to go.
I should let you know, I have been warned. My need to have everything organized, set, ready, (and controlled) may just be thrown out the window when this little comes into our lives. Wow, what will life be like when we have a little girl? -Matt

Hilarious. Make sure all the dishes are done beforehand as well. Much love.

Get lots of sleep. Go to the movies, out to dinner, whatever you like to do because soon you are going to do nothing but stare into your daughter's baby blue eyes and smile.

Thank you for sharing your exciting journey. I have bookmarked your blog.

Love, Barbara

Mazel Tov to both of you as well as Elizabeth and Josh who also had something to do with this mitzvah. I am especially happy to see that there are now other grandparents in our circle of friends with red headed grandchildren. However, I should warn you that the reputation redheads have garnered over the centuries is well earned. I hope you 2 are on especially good behavior with baby X (or is it Y?) as she is probably already a spitfire and not to be trifled with. Give her extra hugs for Barbara and me as we want to start off on her good side and send pictures.

Love,
Sylvan and Barbara
