The "Due Date" has arrived

The "due date" has come and will likely go without much fanfare. The baby has not 'engaged' or dropped into my pelvis, although she is lower this week than last.
According to my LMP (Last Menstrual Period) I am due today. According to an ultrasound done at 11 weeks, I am due Thursday 9/25. That is a good thing - meaning the baby has a couple of extra days to hang out before anyone gets too nervous. As most of you know, the due date is just the average day, the middle day, within a birthing window. From 37 - 42.5 weeks. Babies come anytime in there and are considered "right on time". Good to know.

Here is a picture of the labor tub we have set up in our kitchen... the plan is for it to ease my muscles during the labor. We can fill it with hot water from the sink. Neato . If my water breaks early in labor then I won't be using the tub, but statistically, early water breaking is less common than I'd thought. So, here's hoping I get to soak in a hot tub during labor!

If possible, Matt and I are going to stop thinking about the upcoming birth and just focus on us having together/spontaneous time. We are very prepared and now must get out of our high vibrational heads and into our low vibrational bodies.

Tonight we're going out on a date!

Watch funny movies, drink wine, unplug the phone and enjoy this special time. We are thinking of you

yes - lots of funny movies. And don't worry I never "dropped" beforehand, and I still had a crazy fast labor.
